Smaller and lighter things get crushed by larger and heavier things. So keep your clunker as long as you can. We'll all be driving these little gay locomotion pods in the future after our totalitarian government has banned any vehicles that don't suck.
Sure, even a Tahoe wouldn't have won a crash against two big ass trucks, but the driver of the rear truck is more likely to see a real vehicle.
The funny thing is that the American version of the Smart car isn't as good as the European version, they ditched the turbo in the US version, so it gets worse gas mileage.
