So what's wrong with the kid? He has a job and is going to college. And he is benefit minded. Shouldn't he be a model for other kids? So he went to an Obama event high on speed, not a big deal (unless he runs for president).
He's majoring in communications, he's politically minded, and on drugs... he could be the next Rush Limbaugh. He's already been in college as long as Rush, so if he drops out now, then maybe he will be.
I don't have a problem with what he asked or his current employment/education situation.
But they way he asked made me think it was a joke. It is hysterical. I am not at all surprised that he has worked for McDonald's for 4 YEARS!! Clearly this is a kid with ambition and xcellent communikation skillz.
Do you forget what idiots we were when we were that age? And where do you expect a teenager to work? Department of Defense? 4 years at McD's means this kid has been holding a job since he was legally able to work at 16. That's more than a lot of people can claim at that age. And there is nothing wrong with working at McDonald's when you have no education or other work experience, like teenagers unfortunately have. I know a guy who worked at McDonald's for 5 years. Now he has an MBA from Duke and is a General Manager for a Fortune 500 company.
Obama: "Well son. I believe that McDonald's workers should make $50,000 a year with full benefits!"
ReplyDeleteR-tard: "THANK YOU LORD! Now I can drop out of college and stay at this job!"
Obama: "That's a great idea son. My administration will NOT encourage achievement of any kind."
