Most Americans are pro-life

A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves "pro-life" on the issue of abortion and 42% "pro-choice." This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

Yep. Conservatism is dead.

Sarcasm aside, its the Republican Party that is dead... Thanks W, you killed it.

  1. I'm pro-life except for these circumstances: rape, severe birth defects. I think it's wrong that all of these idiots are having abortions because they're "not ready yet". If you're not ready yet, then keep the P out of the Vagee.

The argument that it's her body is bullshit, because it's also the baby's body after conception.

I believe the Fox News stat can be explained by the fact that there is only one conservative network and several liberal ones. That is the only reason it is number one.

  2. If you are pro-choice, that's cool, I'm not going to convince someone otherwise.

But I do think its funny watching pro-choice people explain their position. Because it usually the same people that stand up for the rights of Spotted Owls.

They can sit back and say that a women has control over her body so its her right to terminate an unborn child. But then deny a landowner control over his land and his ability to kill an animal.

That seems so ass backwards to me. So many pro-lifers value animal life more than unborn children.

  3. I remember having a conversation at Acme with Marc's old hippy girlfriend. She's vegan and into animal rights and she literally said this: "Who cares about all those stupid Africans with the flies on their faces and shit. Just let them die. Why the hell do they live there anyway."

I was just like WTF? Humans are animals, but for some reason some hippies think lesser animals are more important.
