"We saved the economy" - Rahm

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel told The New York Times Obama intends to use the news conference as a "six-month report card," to talk about "how we rescued the economy from the worst recession" and the legislative agenda moving forward, including health care and energy legislation

Wow, hubris anyone? Hyperbole?

Last I checked this is the worst recession since the Great Depression and unemployment is continuing to go up and the housing market is still in the crapper.

Even if things were getting bettter (which they are not), but even if they were do you honestly expect people to believe that you saved the economy in less than 6 months on the job?? hahaha nice one Rahm!
