Have you see this commercial? It really pisses me off.


Afrika: It's mine mine mine
Common: It was influenced by Planet Rock

Ummm I'm pretty sure it was influenced by Kraftwerk.

    In Planet Rock, Afrika Bambata sampled Trans Europe Express from Kraftwerk.

    Common went on to sample Planet Rock.

    This commercial is a silly debate between Afrika Bambata and Common about the origins of the song.

    The main hook from Planet Rock is Trans Europe Express from Kraftwerk.

    So the whole commercial is rick-dick-u-lus because Afrika is pissed he isn't getting credit for the "influence" while totally ignoring Kraftwerk.
