Radical on the Right

This guy's letter struck me a lot. I hear this point of view quite often from conservative friends of mine. Conservatives of the meat-eating, gun-toting, military-serving type, too.

Republicans now having lost power have become radical: they accuse a mostly centrist president of being a socialist; they wish failure on the president of the United States at a time of extreme foreign and domestic crisis. Some insinuate rebellion if they can't "take their country back," and no mainstream Republican voices outrage at the hint of insurrection. They screamed about a speech that mostly articulated conservative bromides ("take responsibility for yourself," "work hard," "do not rely on excuses").

Link.

  1. "a mostly centrist president"

So who wrote this? What part about any of Obama's policies, proposals, speeches are even remotely centrist?

Seriously, do you want to start providing actual facts or keep posting cute cartoons?
